Happy Canada Day!

And to our customers in the US, have a great Independence Day!

With summer now fully under way, I've been out enjoying the sun more than I should. As a result, I haven't done all the work I'd planned to and there aren't any new gems to see in our store.

In order to clear out some of our old inventory and make room for some new materials and items coming this fall, we're having a Big Summer Gemstone Clearance Sale!

We've put all of our Lightning Ridge Black Opal Rough parcels on sale with discounts ranging from 15% to 50% off! These rough opal parcels will be on sale until they're gone or Labour Day, whichever comes first! Have a look, it's a great chance to get some nice Lightning Ridge Rough Opals to play with.

More Top-Quality Afghan Lapis Lazuli

We had a great response to our Top Quality Royal Blue Lapis Lazuli Rough and are sold out. Even the pieces we had in reserve to post once our photographer had some time are also sold!

However we're working on finding more of this amazing intense Royal Blue Lapis Lazuli and hope to have more by the fall. As well we will be expanding our selection of Finished Lapis Lazuli Gemstones -- as long as I get to work and don't waste too much time enjoying the summer!

Gold and Silver Jewellery

This fall we're going to be expanding our business to include hand-crafted Sterling Silver jewellery, starting with some Koroit Boulder Opal pendants.

We'll be adding other Sterling Silver and 18 karat gold jewellery - pendants and earrings - using our Australian Black Opal and Afghan Lapis Lazuli. Watch for it!

More Facet Rough and Lapidary Materials

Due to requests we will also be expanding our selection of facet rough crystals and specialty lapidary rough. Look for some interesting new gemstone materials soon!
